Pearland Animal Hospital’s whole staff is amazing! From the courteous front desk staff, the knowledgeable Vet techs, and the amazing bedside manner Dr. Vance gives makes you feel right at home! He has personally saved my dog from a seriously painful eye situation and skin irritation when other vets seemed to have brushed things off. He always gives the best belly rubs to my dog and is very patient and thoughtful with his treatment. If I could give 10 stars I would! I just transferred all of our animals here! Pearland Animal Hospital has always been there for me and my pets' needs. They are thorough, friendly, caring, and mostly have great bed side manner for my pets. The facility is always clean and fresh smelling. The outside has a nice walk area, and the kennels are super nice too! They manage very nicely which is important to see. I totally recommend for your pets too!

I preface this by writing that I truly believe the folks at Pearland Animal Hospital truly care and are good at what they do. Dr Vance and team were awesome. I offer advice to anyone that reads this. Surgery is a big thing for a dog to go through, if you have a surgery planned for your dog at the end of the week, please know that they are only open until 12PM on Saturday, are not a 24/7 hospital and are closed on Sunday. If you have a surgery on Th/Friday of that week, that you could’ve went to another vet that had more service and oversight for longer, really weigh your options. Worst case you get a second opinion and spend a little more. You may end up not having the options you should have over the weekend to take them back if something is wrong, since they are basically closed and that could be the difference. They care and are very good at what they do, but the hours are not smart to go through any type of surgery Th/Friday unless it’s a critical “if this doesn’t happen right now” type of thing in my opinion. Please choose earlier in the week or really think through if 24/7 availability for a surgery if there are complications is an important thing for you and your pet. This is more over their hours, not their care. Availability is sometimes everything, and you are left thinking, “I’ll just go on Monday when they open, they are the ones that did it” and Monday may never come. My advice for the clinic would be to really bring up the points I’ve brought up above to patients to have them consider them and to not do major surgeries on Th/Friday unless immediately life threatening. Go with love and hold your babies close and really think through your options and go much deeper than what works best for your schedule as a pet owner, but what’s the best schedule for the pet.

I brought my aging toy poodle for a check up. and Dr Vance was very professional, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. very attentive to my old baby. Staff Ryan was also amazing and very professional! Highly recommend this vet place. Again, thank you!

Pearland Animal Hospital is amazing!! We were with our former vet for over 20 years, and she retired. We were so concerned. Dr. Henry was the perfect transition. She loves our dogs and kitty. She listens to our concerns, is flexible with scheduling and follows up. I’d highly recommend Pearland Animal Hospital to any pet lover!
