Dan and his assistant did a great job finishing up the work for a new hose bib line run to my garage. He also quickly gave options for replacing my laundry drain cast iron.
I also asked for the lines in the attic to be buried by at least 6” of insulation and lowered to the joists rather than be “exposed” to the attic environment. The lines needed to be exposed for the inspection. Despite the lines being insulated, in environments less than 32F, they would eventually freeze if they are stagnant and lacking a heat source from the house or a drip. No worries about bursting frozen lines that are Pex, but they would not flow if frozen. They need to be close to the joists to get that heat source and buried u see insulation to protect from the environment.
They came back and buried the lines to my satisfaction. That should be part of the standard repipe process. If buried properly, they don’t need to be insulated, but apparently the new plumbing code requires them to be insulated. But without a heat source from the house or a flow/drip, they would freeze. Great job by Kris and Anthony accommodating my request.

Josh was very professional and so far in less than 24 hours to complete this survey, his craftsmanship in Plumbing is showing the hard work in placing Pfister Valve, Spout, main water shut -off valve and exterior hose faucet to all be working fine.

Mason came out to check work that was done that may have caused sprinklers to stop working. He diagnosed the issue & it was nothing that was caused by 1-800 Plumber. He is very personable, thorough & was able to explain what was going on so I understand. Have had good experiences with this company.

Dan was a true joy to work with regarding the water heater installment. He arrived before the scheduled time (that's good), very professional and knowledgeable. He went in the attic to access the problem and returned with an explanation that was easy to understand. He reviewed the options in detail the options that were available and the costs. I made my decision and he left to get the supplies and a helper. They both returned to my home and began to install the water heater, which took about three hours. I paid my bill, we chatted a little about sports and tested the water temp, which was fine. I requested the temp to be a little hotter and he obliged. It was a pleasure to have Dan as my technician. GREAT work!!!!!
