Our Coco received the best care by Dr. Zoo and staff! What a welcoming environment and excellent customer service. We are so happy to be part of the family at FAH!

We recently left our long time vet after several bad experiences.
We gave Family Animal Hospital FW a try and it was such an amazing experience, such a relief! They didn't treat us like just a transaction with upselling (I'm looking at you Friendswood Animal Clinic) but they actually cared about me and about my boy, Max.
They were sweet, they were gentle, they talked to him, and most importantly they asked questions and actually listened to what I had to say.
Crazy: They didn't have a cold metal exam table and old plastic chairs in the exam room, but a nice comfy couch and cushy ottoman that they used as the "exam table" (see pics). Yes, in the exam room! Max was super comfortable and at ease.
But the thing that really got me in the feels was when I watched the Dr. and her assistant get down on the floor with Max for the examination. Look, I'm a dude and don't get emotional, but at that point I was so moved that I LITERALLY started crying.
Thank you Family Animal Hospital. There's a reason why the first word in your business' name is Family. You can't possibly know how much the entire visit meant to me. It's so, so, so good. We'll be bringing Max and our other 4 pets to you from now on.

If you are going for well checks and shots, great place. The worst place ever if your animal gets sick. You can call tell them your pet has not eaten for three days and is now throwing up blood. They will tell you they can not get you in. They will tell you to go to urgent care or maybe try Safari animal hospital. I went to urgent care. I was not comfortable with them doing all these test. While there, I called clinic. They said they had room for a morning drop off and they would get to the pet as soon as they could. I asked why they did not offer this the day before. I was told they had no room. So I dropped my animal off, thinking they would check her out in a couple hours. I did not hear back till after 1:00. I picked her up that afternoon. Brought her home, next morning she had trouble walking. They were able to let me drop her off again. No room for sick appointments. I ended up having to put her down. She spent the last days of her life, alone and scared at a vet, because they had no openings for a sick pet. Why go to a vet, when they can not get you in, when animal is sick. Every vet I have ever gone to has made room for a sick pet. I moved across town, was told this was a good place. I wish I would of driven across town to Marina Bay Animal hospital. They would fit a sick animal in. This was my experience.

They always take great care of our doggo Fluke. They are affordable and honest. What more could you want from a vet!

Dr Zoo is so caring and loving with Sadie, as is the entire staff. Everyone greets her and comes over to give her a pet. The ladies at the front desk, and the vet techs are all just amazing, as well.
