Continuing my explore through Friendswood and Pearland, I come across a coffee shop called First Cup.
It was very much off my radar because my default was another well established coffee roaster in Pearland. But these guys are roasters too. And the coffee is good. A lot of times I have joked in the past that the better the graphics of the coffee bags and the T-shirts , more “iffy” the coffee may be. But in this case, I’m pleased to advise that their merchandise and their coffee get a thumbs up from me.
Recommended.
I tried a pour over, and also an Americano. And enjoyed both very much. It is a large venue and very popular. And they have a private room or teo for business work, you need to do something with your laptop and another private room with toys for kids to play. All in all a very impressive operation and I shall be back. They have checked all of the boxes of what a coffee shop in 2025 can be.

First Cup in Pearland is a total find. Whether you are there for the yummy coffee and tea or a bite to eat, everything is on point. They have a great selection for breakfast, snacks, or a lite lunch that actually tastes fresh and flavorful.
The environment is what really sets it apart:
Seating for every vibe: Incredibly cozy with sofas for relaxing, plus plenty of desks and tables if you're in work mode.
Work-friendly: They even have rentable small office areas with a desk and chairs, which is such a smart touch for anyone needing a private workspace.
Comfort factor: I’ve actually stayed for hours and felt totally comfortable and at home.
It is the perfect spot to settle in, get some work done, and enjoy a great cup of coffee. 5 stars.

So I would give this five stars but the only thing is customer service, and when they heated up my pecan roll it was tacky and still kind of cold all of the drinks deserve five stars. But when I was waiting to order the workers were in the back near the pick up window and were making TikTok videos and doing dances! But overall really good drinks and food. Me and my friends go there all the time for study sessions!!! And we are very pick about where we study.🩵🩵🩵

Better than Starbucks! Stop randomly to check this place out and wasn't disappointed. Very clean inside and out, great selection, fresh pastries (empanadas are on the menu y'all), and a welcoming staff ready to help. Decor is amazing, no other coffee shop looks like this on the inside. There are offices and a conference room to book for meetings (nice touch). Ordered a mocha and it was perfect. Shout to the morning staff for making my first visit a great experience. I will be back for sure; give this place a try.

I just randomly hit the drive thru bc I was in the area. I try to support local businesses when given the chance (I presume theyre local or at least small). I had the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. Bread was a tasty brioche bun i believe. Coffee was macchiato which was also good. The only negative was the price. I paid what I normally pay for a full drive thru lunch!
But good for them if they are able to get that much per visitor
