Polite, fast, honest and friendly group of men. They finished their service in a great amount of time. Our house is now comfortable with our new AC. The members of my family could not wait in the heat. "On The Way plumbing" knocked it out of the park. Thank you to all the men working on this project we are very grateful for your hard work.

Virgil was our Technician today and I cannot be more appreciative of his professional and courteous manner. The whole team that we have been in contact with has been informative and concise. On The Way are the only ones I will call with any needs I have for A/C, Heat, Plumbing, or Electrical. I am a huge fan!
Thank You so much!

We like Luke very much as well as the other tech that came out, They were prompt, professional and seemed to be very knowledgeable. But then we have the cold hard results of their service call. Luke was called out when our new system kept shutting down. Luke checked the voltage at the system and reset it, which seemed to fix the problem. But the system shut down the very next day. The second tech pulled the cover off the compressor unit and found that the system had bled out most of the refrigerant and was operating at a 20% capacity. He then traced the leak to the threaded cap on a thermal expansion valve that On The Way provided when they hooked up the system. The cap on the bottom was so loose that it took a full turn to stop the system leak. He then needed to add in excess of 6 pounds of refrigeerant at over $100 per pound. The system worked fine for less than 12 hours and then shut down again. The tech came out and found that there was an error code showing on the compressor mother board and it had to be reset. Again, it worked fine for about 12 hours and then shut down, The error code showed "04" which is the code for locked rotor.
This brings up several disturbing things about the service calls. Why didn't Luke check out the cause of the system shutting down. The thermal expansion valve was supplied and installed by On the Way HVAC and was in fact the cause of the system leaking. I am not an expert in the components of an HVAC system, but either the expansion valve was faulty and is currently leaking, or it was not installed properly allowing the refrigerant to leak out of the system. There was no internal leak found in any of the components that we supplied from Goodman, only the expansion valve. The fact that the system is shutting down- still- and showing an error code of 04 seems to indicate a locked rotor condition seems to stem from the system running low on refrigerant and damaging the compressor unit. I would relate it to having an automotive mechanic leaving an oil filter loose or a drain plug leaking. I do not know the source of these problems, but all of the Goodman parts we supplied were brand new from the factory. I can understand that running a rotary compressor without a proper level of refrigerant could, concievably, cause system damage as well as resulting in deteriorating performance until the system barely worked at all. As I said, I like both Luke and the other tech, and they seemed to miss what was causing the problems with my system, and the system cutting out on a daily basis remains a problem to this day. I am reluctant to call anyone back from On The Way for another service call due to the expense already incurred. As I said, I am not an HVAC expert and I only supplied the components from Goodman to be hooked up by your company. I didn't expect that the installation would be needing a complete recharge in just over one year, and possibly having a compressor damaged as a result. I told each tech what was happening and continually questioned as to why it was occuring. It is not a normal situation to have the entire system running constantly and shutting down for no apperent reason. It turned out there was a very good reason, and your guys didn't find it
