We have a rescue pup. She is a sweetheart, but we were a bit overwhelmed with training. We reached out to a few training facilities and Pawsitive care felt like the right fit, from the questions they were asking and general professionalism.
We did the board and train for two weeks. During the course of the board and train, we did sessions with the trainer on how to properly train and communicate with our dog. They gave us homework for the weekends and a continued training plan at the end. Our pup came back with good threshold manners and not jumping on us anymore. She also had started to have a good place, come and stay responses towards the end of the board and train. Most valuable takeaway for us was learning how to train her, to where we can continue to work with her and improve. We felt like they got to know us, our dog and our lifestyle and got us trained up to be slightly more peaceful and have some good dog communication skills.
Since the board and train, we’ve also used their dog care services on our busy days. She loves going back, and gets ultra excited when we get there to play with the other doggos. It’s helped in socializing her with other dogs. They post pictures on Instagram of our pup’s adventures and that’s a fun plus to see!
Overall, Pawsitive crew is A+ for both their training programs and daycare. We’d recommend them to our own friends and family.

We love Pawsitive Care. We adopted Duke from the humane society and he was CRAZY! We did several of training and he was so much more well behaved, followed commands, etc. He still goes for daycare 1-2 times a week and loves it.

I took my 20 week old puppy, Tiger, to Pawsitive Care for training. Week 1 he was there 24/7. Week 2 daily 8a-5p. I was blown away with the results! He was much calmer overall. He was able to place, sit, lay and stay. And he was able to socialize with othe dogs. Now, when I see Tiger after separation, he doesn't jump up and claw my legs, nor does he do that anymore with friends who come over. Ginger was his trainer and she is AMAZING.
Ginger took me through some owner training as well so that I could continue to build on what Tiger learned at Pawsitive. I was so pleased and impressed that I've signed him up for 10 more sessions. And Tiger loves being there. I found the cost to be very reasonable compared to other training programs. Pawsitive and staff get a 5-star rating from me!!

We are so happy that we found Pawsitive care and Ashley! They truly care about your fur babies. We reached out to Ashley for training help. Our puppy, Boogey, was shy, scared, and lacked confidence. After working with Ashley and Pawsitive care his silly, sweet, and happy personality started coming through and he has made so much progress! He loves going to daycare and playing with his buddies! If you are looking for training help, daycare, or boarding I promise you’ll be happy you chose Pawsitive care

Our dogs love Positive Care! We initially sought out daycare after we adopted an 8-month-old puppy and our senior dog did not like her (he couldn't be in the same room as her). After a horrible experience with a different daycare, I called Ashley to see if her daycare would be a good fit. She made sure all my questions were answered and on top of that asked about the puppy's personality and what my goals were. She discussed how she would address the goals and which daycare pups would be good for her to learn play manners from.
We immediately saw a difference within the first two weeks. Our senior dog started interacting with her because she was gentler, but that’s when we noticed that he also needed some play manners. After a couple months of both dogs going twice a week, they are now inseparable. Our senior dog wants to constantly play with her, and he acts like he’s 4 again. Both of them really enjoy daycare and their friends and I appreciate Ashley posting daily pictures of them having fun.
